It is the mission of the New Counselor Institute Committee along with the help of IACAC and its members, to collectively engage and create a program that will educate and mentor new counselors to the admissions profession and the IACAC organization. The New Counselor Institute will offer professional development and networking opportunities which are applicable to current recruiting trends and will aid in their transition as professionals.

Please plan to let your new hires join us for IACAC’s annual professional development and networking experience, New Counselor Institute. In partnership with the greater IACAC community, the NCI Committee will provide essential direction and inspiration to new (0-2 years of experience) college admission professionals by providing knowledge, tools, and resources to support in the successful transition to the profession.
Participants will engage in educational sessions, valuable conversations, applicable experiences, with networking opportunities designed to introduce the industry of college admissions and IACAC Executive leadership.

Cancellation Policy
Our goal is to provide exceptional programming and service. If any programs, products or services of IACAC do not fulfill that goal, please let us know at president@iacac.org.
Cancellation, Refund & Substitution Policy
IACAC will partially refund program registrations fees minus a $10 processing fee so long as notifications are submitted to Erin Hoover, Executive Director via e-mail at ehoover@iacac.org. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by 15 business days before the program. Requests made in writing less than 15 business days prior to the first day of the program will not receive refunds. Refunds cannot be approved for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted at any time.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
IACAC reserves exclusive right to modify, postpone/reschedule or cancel programs for any reason, including but not limited to emergency, inclement weather or other 'acts of God'. If there is an event cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule, and registration fees will be applied to the rescheduled event date. Any travel, lodging, or incidental expenses incurred related to a cancelled event cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If a cancelled event cannot be rescheduled, IACAC will determine an equitable basis for the refund of a portion or all of the registration fees, after due consideration of circumstances and expenditures.
Consent to Use of Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, IACAC meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by IACAC and other third parties, including but not limited to the event venue, independent contractors, etc.
