Chicago-Based Regional Recruitment Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES
Off-campus-based recruitment responsibilities include high school visits, planning and executing recruitment receptions in Chicago and surrounding area, making frequent phone calls to prospective and admitted students, customer service functions, outreach-related activities, development and implementation of marketing strategies for recruiting efforts.
REQUIRED SKILLS
BA/BS degree; master’s degree preferred; valid driver's license; good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including bilingual in Spanish and English; dedication and commitment to customer service; the ability to project a favorable image on behalf of University; demonstrated ability to give presentations before large groups; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; extensive automobile travel; and some weekend assignments; recent involvement in a university setting.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Three to five years of successful experience in college/university admissions or related field; experience working with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
