Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to Director of Undergraduate Admissions and is responsible for all aspects of transfer recruitment.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive recruitment plan and strategy designed to meet enrollment goals which includes marketing initiatives for targeted markets.
- Oversees all aspects of transfer admission counselor training and transfer event planning.
- Oversees all aspects of transfer student file review including all phases of allied health and ABSN programs.
- Assumes travel locally and regionally to community colleges as well as for professional development and conferences.
- Develops, coordinates and evaluates all transfer recruitment events and budget associated with events.
- Assists in creating communication flow to interested students.
- Coordinates recruitment efforts amongst staff and faculty as appropriate within other departments/divisions.
- Serves as a freshman file reviewer.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education or Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field and at least four-six years of related experience.
List any certificates, credentials or licenses required to perform the duties of this position.
Valid driver's license is required.
Access to a vehicle.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to clients (prospective students, students, parents, etc.) and employees. May supervise the work of others; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
